Orchestrated Workflows: A Practical Guide

How to think about workflow orchestration in real estate — and why it matters for teams that need repeatability and governance.

What Is Workflow Orchestration?

Workflow orchestration is the coordination of tasks, data, and decisions across people and systems. In real estate, this means connecting site analysis, feasibility, documentation, and approval into a single, repeatable process.

The Components

An orchestrated workflow has four parts: inputs (planning rules, site data, comps, geometry), apps (the tools that process inputs), orchestration (the logic that sequences steps), and outputs (feasibility models, memos, evidence packs, decision trails).

Why It Matters

Without orchestration, every project starts from scratch. Knowledge lives in people's heads. Quality varies. With orchestration, best practices are encoded. Outputs are consistent. And teams can scale without adding headcount proportionally.
