We spend a lot of time in Giraffe going wide.
We gather different threads - databases, APIs, algorithms - and stitch them together. (Ideally making a tapestry and not a tangled ball of string.)
But sometimes we go deep on one specific problem.
Recently we've been spending time on our version of an apartment/multifamily algorithm. We've been going deep, following the thread of recursive algorithms and the difference between 'Texas donut' and point towers. The video shows the algorithm alone in the void. It works on a blank background.
Next, we'll weave it into the rest of Giraffe. Then it can be contextualised and complemented by other tools, data, and human input.
